I don't know about you but this Christmas Season did not have the spirit of Christmas as I remembered it could have. Happy Holidays didn't do it for a lot of people and it showed up in the atmosphere. To think our dictators took time out to remove Merry Christmas from celebrating conscious after all of these years, yet they can't catch Bin Laden nor establish security for our children. I tell you, something is wrong with this picture.
As we approach the New Year celebration, I pray people will begin to see the programming the world system induces into our conscious. There is more to life than struggling to get more material wealth. If we do not introduce the other missing elements of life into our conscious, we are going to have to prepare ourselves to be surrounded by heathens that do not care how we feel about anything. Children are being denied full development of their souls due to materialism. Appreciation, respect, good character, love etc. are not priorities anymore in preparing children to become adults.
It is extremely important that we each individually get in touch with gratitude and appreciation for having another day of life to be able to see, talk, laugh, hear, smell and to choose what is best for self and mankind. Instead of complaining about not getting a new car, pair of shoes, nails and hair done, promotions etc., thank God you are alive. Start this New Year praying people will choose to be a better human being for the sake of diffusing the selfish acts of many people.
Before you think you have it bad or deserve more, think about a family who birthed a son with no limbs. This young man is more appreciative to being alive than many of us with large bank accounts, all our limbs, loved ones alive, etc. He is so grateful that he tells the world how blessed he is to be alive. And, he is more independent than the average person because this young man, Nic Vujicic uses everything God gave him to the best of his ability. We can learn something from him. We can re-establish our priorities and open our eyes to love, caring, giving and turning away from greed and selfishness of ourselves and authority figures that take from us to stay rich.
HAPPY NEW YEAR should mean returning home to our souls---our first realization of knowing we are blessed to be alive and we are here to love one another not just get more stuff. Begin again. Nic Vujicic knows why we are born. He is amazing! Join me in observing the true meaning of life:
Looking back over my life, I can’t help but to think of the only father I ever knew. He was a man so loved by the women and his family. He was highly respected by everyone. He had a natural charm that would make you want to be around him especially when he would speak. His voice would make you want to listen to every word he spoke. With that voice, he had intelligence and wisdom. But when you looked in his eyes, they always seem to be fighting back tears.
Often times my father and I would take my sons and go to his favorite park and talk for hours about life. The things he shared with me gave me a deeper understanding of life and people. One thing he always told me: “Don’t ever let anybody into the sanctuary of your mind because that is how people take possession of you.” I never forgot those words as I faced the world and began to see the truth about the nature of humanity. He was so right in so many ways. I only wished I understood what broke his heart so early in life. He didn’t trust anybody outside his family.
I learned later on in time, he was molested by his uncle and his family was known for incest among themselves. Also, his trust in women went down the drain when his bride to be, a minister’s daughter had taken all of his money he sent home while he was fighting in the war in Korea. He told me himself, he would never trust women.
But he always told me he loved me and he would do anything for me. He found no wrong in molesting me as a child. In fact, he swore he could not help being in love with me. When I became a teenager, he approached me as a lover and I shook and cried so hard, he promised to never approach me again. That night just before midnight, my father was shot in the back and paralyzed from the waist down. Of course, I felt it was my fault. If I had not made him speak those words, maybe he would not have been paralyzed.
My father died about twenty years later as a paraplegic. Even on his death bed, he found no wrong in loving me the way he did. In my heart, I always felt he couldn’t help who he was; anybody for that matter, who distorted the true meaning of love. Though I wished I had a father who knew how to be a father and to teach me those things in life a father should teach through the eyes of God, I found what my father gave me was a heart, burden and urgency to assist in the healing of the broken hearted and the misguided victims in the world.
Most victimizers are victims themselves. God made it plain to me to love all His children and to not judge them for their lack of love and understanding of what is best. But instead, plant seeds that will eventually choke the weeds that vex the spirit of freedom. To this day, I love my father and wished he could have experienced the understanding of parenthood through the eyes of God. In his absence, I do the will of God.

When trusting is in your life, experiences become sweeter. When you are in a state of trusting someone, your body even feels better because it does not have to be on guard as it holds all your tension and uneasiness. Looking at an infant you see how relaxed he or she is. All they have to do is receive. Because all they have to do is receive much is given from them as well, especially pure love. They give us gentleness and refreshment towards life because we are given an opportunity to have safe interactions with another human being without wondering the costs for caring and giving. People today are not too trusting because of the many deceptions experienced in relationships.
Though a lack of trust can be justified, the lack prevents us from spreading our wings. Trusting has a birthing effect that is why we must be childlike in nature to obtain the Kingdom of God. We cannot let people vex our spirit so strongly that we can't breathe freedom to love. Trust is the ability to know your inner guidance always draw all good to your life even if people try to make you see otherwise. No matter what sins people toss your way, stand in trusting God will catch it. Do not let human deceptions build life time fences of bondage. Keep moving towards the high prize of freedom to be. Without trust can not know God.
If I had a daughter I would tell her to understand she is a gift from God. I would instill that in her from the day she is born. There would be no competition between us as far as winning daddy’s affections or proving I am the better female. I would tell her there was a time it was considered a curse to have a daughter verses having a son. But that time is over because now the female child can be adored, respected and looked upon as intelligent.
I would tell her to always know she is a unique creation of God and God is something or someone deep in her heart. I would teach her to value this invisible presence at all times and to shield it from the temptations of the world. First and foremost she must always understand that boys are totally different than girls in more ways than just physical. I would let her know each year of her life requires a different understanding of the male species.
First of all, the boy is a hunter and he thrives to satisfy his senses. It is human nature for him to desire to devour her body but it does not mean you should surrender it to him, especially when God is your first love. I would teach her to understand it is normal to feel sensations in her distinguished female areas of her body that the male yearns to touch and explore. But understand this is human nature. This urgency is the continuation of the human species. Know precious daughter it is not your responsibility to give your body away for this natural process. The alluring of the eyes of the beholder and his strong desire to have you is no different than what happens with the animals in the jungle. It is called mating to bring forth life.
True, it appears romantic and magical when you read about it or watch it on TV. This is just a smoke screen to sedate you as your soul, spirit and relationship with God is compromised for a moment of lustful fulfillment. Once the sperm is released, things are never the same because God was not in it and He was put on hold while your self-value is dropped. Before you take off those panties, remember you are not alone. God is there and hoping He is chosen over satisfying the lusts of the flesh of another.
Once you have allowed yourself to become naked before the eyes of a male, you risk the chance of being an instrument for sexual pleasure and never seen as a flower again. The boys share their experiences with one another as though their experience was a just reward for all their efforts for cunning you into his bed. Virginity is special for it represents oneness with God. God has something for you when you wait for your mate and trust Him to choose him for you.
There are other things going on in life for God’s children besides sweating between sheets. There is much to be done in bringing light into a world where God was not considered instead of sex. The outcome is greed, lust, drugs, sexual abuse and hate. All just because one girl, someone’s daughter did not value herself as a child of God. Honor yourself. See the opposite sex as a means to exercise spiritual truth not sexual arousal for the outcome is illegitimate children and a cry for the father to be in their lives. Go in to the world knowing God is with you always. If only someone had told them.
Love is real. It is not based on being wanted and needed. It is based on a silent knowingness that together we can make a difference in this world. My daughter, your most important homework assignment is finding out whom or what God is and living it each day of your life.
When you look at a country spending billions of dollars in a war in Iraq, you can't help but wonder what we are thinking. Billions of dollars to protect us from terrorists or is it insurgents? I'm not sure; I just know lives and our hard earned money is headed FAR AWAY FROM THIS COUNTRY because mankind has not developed beyond the early days of the Bible.
We can come up with billions to kill and destroy but little to rebuild the city of New Orleans a place where American people worked and slaved to give it meaning. Why is that? Why is it not important to take care of this area of our country? In America alone, we have single individuals that could afford to rebuild that whole foundation and they would not miss the money as far as lifestyle. Yet, our rich preachers, athletes and celebrities except the exceptional ones would rather sit on money they will never spend in this life time than to be a blessing for innocent victims of a natural disaster.
Our media does not expose good on a high scale, they would rather we continue thinking the world is filled with heartless, selfish and greedy people seeking to be worshiped by others. But this does not apply to everyone. My heart was blessed when I read and listened to Brad Pitt share his genuine concerns in rebuilding New Orleans. He is one soul that went there with the people's best interest at heart without looking for a pat on the back. He didn't just come there for news coverage and tax write offs. This family man and well known celebrity came to assist in healing New Orleans. For once, it was not about color but supporting humanity to become stronger and nurtured. I just want to thank God for his spirit and his family being so willing to join him on his determined mission to do good will.

BRAD PITT MAKING A GENUINE DIFFERENCE
I've been receiving e-mails with petitions to keep Christian channels on television. Why is this A great concern? What harm are the programs doing? Is it a financial competition with the anti religious people versus the religious people? What other reason could it be? The Christian community brings in billions.
Take away the programs and you still will have Christians. Imagine life without those programs. What would it cause people to do? Will Christians become stronger or weaker? Would the world become MORE wicked? There comes a time when we must see exactly what is going on. One thing for sure, God can not be stopped.
It appears Christians are being challenged in a modern way now. All the signs are showing evaporation of our presence in the worldly system. No praying in schools was the beginning of this ongoing process. Now we can't advertise using Merry Christmas. Our government does not want "In God We Trust" on money anymore.
How have the children survived under these terms? Many have died attending school these days. Christians must understand what it means to be a Christian then the world will know as well. The way they see it, we want to be just like them.
Are we responsible for the condition the world is in today? Aren't we supposed to make a profound difference with the power received in accepting Christ? Some of us know and live in the truths laid out before us by God. We can't do it along. The acceptance of our responsibilities require all of us to rise to the occasion or the earth will indeed perish.
Being a Christian requires far more than having a title. Find Christianity’s true meaning then we find its place in this world. Maybe something went wrong from the inside. That is the only way a foundation can decompose. We can not stand strong when we don't purely know who we are. Let us begin again knowing we are indeed the salt of the earth.
One day a friend sent me the last speech and sermon of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It wasn't until after reading it, I realized why the Book of Revelations will come to past. Dr. King was the catalyst of an evolutionary change in this country. He was not just risking his life for the African American race but for the survival of the human race. He had such vision for he saw where this country was taking humanity. Bureaucrats were and have taken us into a state of slavery. No matter how much money you have in this country, there will always be those who want you to have less, especially if you are not living to cut throat your own people. Dr. King knew how to shut them down. He knew how to condition the minds and hearts of his followers to join him in transformation.
Unlike the soldiers being conditioned to fight in Iraq, the people who walked with Dr. King had a spiritual base giving them genuine hope for the future of the human race. The soldiers in Iraq are convinced to do something that has already proven to not be the best for the future of the human race. If there was a Christ image that walked this earth to save people from dictatorship of leaders in darkness, it was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The end times Christians speak of are a direct result of greed and a need for human beings to have power over one another. Christ and King represented revolution. It takes a serious spiritual base to bring something like this on. We are conditioned to not go into our unseen self where self-empowerment lies. Instead, we sell ourselves to accumulate things and societal positions among people who do not care about us.
When I think of Dr. King, I think of the spiritual death of this Country. Look at it! There is only rushed spirits of fear and desperation to acquire more before it is taken. There is no human bonding and connecting. We divide and conquer just as bureaucrats want us to do. The end of the world is already here. There is no love binding us as one race - the humane race. The soul of this country is gone. We are just waiting for the striking of a match. I am sure the Universe is a better place without us. In all cases, the majority rule. Was Christ and King's death in vain?
Today, I see the confusion of identifying what it takes to be a man. There was a time all a man had to do was provide for his family while his wife and children remain home. Now, women can provide for themselves, the role of the man has experienced misplacement. What does it actually takes to be a real man? The world will have you believe it is how thick your pockets are with money and how high you are on the ladder of success. Yet, not even this has proven to be peace of mind for the majority because women can compete right beside them.
One minute a woman say she wants a sensitive and gentle man, one who listens and talks with them. They want a man that knows what she needs at all time whether it be a back rub, intimacy, etc.,In many cases it is seen as a sign of weakness and consider him a wimp. On the other hand, some women claim to want a rough neck, someone macho and tough. When they get one of these, the price is usually abusive or lack in nurturing and love. So, what do a man be to be considered a REAL MAN?
I personally would want a man like Moses at least he would not be judging me by appearance but by who I am and what I know. Moses was a REAL man. You do not find too many men in the world today like him. Who would walk away from a woman adorn with riches and a palace where he was highly favored by the King? Who would walk away from a birthright where you could rule a nation to receive the birthright of a slave? All was given up just because he wanted to reclaim his name, mother and family. This man did not know his family but he respected his blood line. THIS IS A REAL MAN.
Men, learn from Moses to how to choose a wife. He was offered to choose among sisters who were young girls, women and an older woman. All were beautiful. Moses did not choose based on sight. He chose the elder woman that was offered to him because she had wisdom and strength. This woman was able to keep her family strong. It was not about breasts, looks, hair, weight and prestige. She had a spirit of God that shined through her eyes and this too won his heart. Men, not by sight but by spirit choose your wife that your days upon the earth will be filled with much comfort and love. THIS IS A REAL MAN.
Moses was an honest man. He did not talk to God as though he would strike him dead. Moses let God know he did not care to serve a god that would have his people in bondage. His honesty was honored and respected by God. Hearing about this God, Moses went seeking for him with all his heart and mind. The desires of his heart were fulfilled as God appeared before him and took him in his bosom. His life became God's presence in the world. THIS IS A REAL MAN.
A real man knows the world does not want him to believe in the simplicities of life. Because if he did, he would be a free man who finds honor in being a husband and father. This man would be hard to find because he would be at home instead of competing with a system that seeks to destroy him and his seed. A REAL MAN knows without God he is nothing. This world only promises to love him to death. Real man look at what you are doing.
I was at work, today, I was listening to people complaining about people smoking in a smoke-free building. Guess what the deciding factor was? MONEY. The owner of the building would rather dunk his head in the sand than to address the issue of smoking in his smoke free building. There is just too much money to lose from his tenants. Meanwhile, people who prefer not to smell like smoke or have allergies have to accept cigarette smoke.
That is a minor example of how our country has become a place where people do not have to have accountability for their actions. Where there is no accountability there is immorality. And, where there is immorality there is loss. I ask you what god we are asking to bless America. And, what kind of blessings are we expecting? If we are talking about the God in the Holy Bible, we are asking the wrong God because that God reveals accountability for your actions.
So, if we are not asking the God of the Holy Bible to bless America then what god is the god of America? Think about it. Based on our priorities and actions towards one another, which god are we asking to bless us?
